Two months after his death, Michael Jackson was buried at a private ceremony before a gathering of 200 family and friends. The funeral ceremony commenced an hour and a half late, 8.30 AM(0030 GMT) and included Michael’s children, Prince Michael(12), Paris Michael(10) and Prince Michael II (7) also known as Blanket.

Close friends Macaulay Culkin and Elizabeth Taylor also attended the burial proceedings. The media and film crews were asked to remain at a distance from the service.

Martinez 25, a fan from Riverside, California, gave pink flowers to a man who had an invitation to attend the funeral. "Can you please put these flowers on his grave?" she told him. Martinez said she picked them from a nearby park. "They were small and ugly, but I did that with my heart. I'm not going to be able to get close, so this is as close as I could get to him." The man consented, adding, "God bless."

The burial of Michael Jackson silences speculations that he will buried at Neverland Ranch. An amended copy of Michael Jackson’s death certificate was filed in Los Angeles County to show Forest Lawn at his final resting place.

Michael Jackson-The King of Pop lives forever

Michael Jackson stormed the world of music with the album-Off The Wall. On July 28,1979, the first single 'Don't stop till you get enough" was released. It peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and achieved number 3 status in the UK. The other three numbers "She's Out of My Life", "Rock With You" and "Off the Wall" also reached Billboard Hot 100 charts, and Off the Album was the first album by a solo artist to attain 4 US top 10 hits.

In 1980, Jackson won three awards at the American Music Awards for his solo efforts: Favorite Soul/R&B Album, Favorite Male Soul/R&B Artist and Favorite Soul/R&B Single for "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough".In the same year, he also won Billboard Music Awards for Top Black Artist and Top Black Album and a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance (for his hit single 'Dont Stop Till You Get Enough")

Michael Jackson became household name after the release of Thriller(November 30,1982). Thriller exceeded the expectations set by Off The Wall. The first single "The Girl is Mine" made people think that Thriller was not going to really rule the roost, but "Billie Jean" had the worst of critics eating a humble pie. The video had Michael Jackson moonwalking to fame. Thriller was one of the first music albums to incorporate videos as promotional material. Thriller, Billie Jean and Beat It are to date, the most watched videos in the world. In the span of a year, Thriller won eight Grammy Awards at the 1984 Grammys, including awards in three different genres—pop, R&B and rock. It currently remains the best selling album of all time. Not many people know that the album 'Thriller'was first called 'Midnight Man' but they finally decided to keep the album name 'Thriller' for marketing reasons. Thriller went on to win Michael Jackson, seven grammy awards in 1984, including Album of the Year. He also won 8 American Music Awards, Three MTV video music award and the Special Award of Merit.

Bad released on August 31,1987 was the biggest selling album of Michael Jackson in the UK. Universally, it is the third best selling music album of Michael Jackson behind Thriller and Dangerous. It was the only album with five songs of the album attaining number one status. The songs that achieved cult status included -The Way You Make Me Feel, Liberian Girl, Dirty Diana, Smooth Criminal,I just Cant Stop Loving You and of course, Bad.

Dangerous(November 26,1991) was the second most successful album of Michael Jackson's career. Dangerous debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 Album Charts with 326,500 copies sold in one week of release. In the year 1993, Michael Jackson won the Grammy Legend Award for his outstanding contribution to music and the album sales skyrocketed. Dangerous stayed in the Billboard countdown for 117 weeks, a good thirty weeks over Bad.
The US and UK gave a terrific reception to Dangerous with more than 48 percent sales coming from these two places. Asia and Australia were sold to Dangerous and its videos like Black or White, Remember the Time, In the Closet, Heal The World, Who is it and Wil You Be There became cult successes. Black or White also won a Grammy for Outstanding Music Video.

History:Past, Present and Future(1995) was Michael Jackson's ninth album, released in the form of a double disc. It is the best-selling multiple disc album ever released, with worldwide sales of 20 million..The album received five Grammy nominations and won one for for the Best Music Video, Short Form-Scream. Scream is featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the "Most Expensive Music Video Ever Made" at a cost of $7 million.

The last album of Michael Jackson-invincible(2001 didnt get the sort of reception and it was declared as the least impressive of all his albums because of of the length of the album and ballads. Rolling Stone believed that "every song is full of grandiose desperation. It's an excruciatingly self-referential place, worsened further by its namesake's unmatched controversies and weirdnesses."

This Is It was supposed to be a series of "comeback" concert performances by Michael Jackson, which were supposed to take place beginning on July 13, 2009, at The O2 arena in London and continue throughout the year.It was believed that the first 10 dates would alone have earned the singer a figure of more than £50 million. But then less than three weeks before Michael Jackson could again whip a frenzy, he suffered cardiac arrest and ascended to heavenly abode.

The real reason behind Michael Jackson's death

Jordon Chandler is sorry. He had claimed that the king of pop, Michael Jackson had sexually abused him in the year 1993. Michael Jackson who was cleared off all the charges decided to get on with life, and decided to put controversies behind him by paying an out of court settlement of $22 million dollars. To quote him,""I wanted to go on with my life. Too many people had already been hurt. I want to make records. I want to sing. I want to perform again...It's my talent. My hard work. My life. My decision." But that didn't drive Jackson's demons away; they began to chase him in tabloids, websites and SMS jokes. He began to drown in depression and his songs were often diverted towards the media for painting him in negative light. He lost a lot of weight and began taking drugs, pain relievers and medication to cope with depression. The soft spoken star began to regularly take drugs like Demerol, Valium, Atvian and Xanax.

Though Dangerous released in 1991 was a hit all over the world for two years, Michael Jackson's ninth song 'Gone too Soon' did not do so well in the UK. He canceled the tenth single 'Dangerous'tour and did not perform in the US. Michael Jackson's hopes to be the UN ambassador were dashed, his ten year contract with Pepsi was dissolved though he had earned $500 million dollar for the company. Hardcore Michael Jackson fans still do not drink Pepsi because they did not take too kindly to the Pepsi move. He was to launch fragrances for men and women which were turned down by the maker because of his tarnished name. His album History released after the allegations had most of the songs that reflected on his personal angst and frustration at the media. Songs like Scream, Tabolid Junkie and Stranger in Moscow reflected on his sad state of mind and wouldn't have been composed if Michael Jackson was not a victim of child abuse allegation. and subsequent depression.

On the personal front, Michael Jackson began to lose weight, burned down heavily by the scathing negative attack by the media and false allegations. He was visibly drowsy, a pale shadow of his youthful self, lacked concentration and began to speak in slurred tone. In fact, matters were so much worse that he reportedly couldn't remember the names of his previous albums or the names of people he had worked with. The recent news reports in connection with autopsy now states that Michael Jackson was hooked on to a dangerous cocktail of drugs and would rarely eat.

What happens to Jordon Chandler who made allegations against Michael Jackson? Well, the boy is now all of 26 years, living in a a $2.35 million home in Long Island He and his family live in a plush high-rise apartment in Manhattan and a condominium in Santa Barbara. Jordan reportedly received his last installment from Jackson in June 1999. Guild ridden, Jordon Chandler has this to say about the king of pop, "I never meant to lie and destroy Michael Jackson but my father made me to tell only lies. Now i can't tell Michael how much i'm sorry and if he will forgive me ".
